I photograph weddings in Los Angeles with an emphasis on honest, in-the-moment imagery. I work mostly with natural light and prefer to stay mobile, moving through spaces like the 6th Street Viaduct and Greystone Mansion with whatever energy the day brings. My approach is relaxed and observational. I am not a director. I let people be with each other, and I document what I see. Most of my couples are people who do not want to perform for the camera. They want someone who can find the real version of the day. I live in Echo Park and shoot across the city, from Venice to Pasadena.

I shoot weddings in Los Angeles with a documentary eye and a calm presence. Most of my couples want natural light, real emotion, and photos that don't feel staged. I work with a mix of 35mm film and digital, and I move quietly through the day so people forget I'm there. My favorite spots include the 6th Street Viaduct at golden hour, the glass curves at Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Venice Canals when the light goes soft. I also love shooting at Greystone Mansion and walking couples through LACMA after dark. I've been photographing weddings for over a decade, mostly in LA but also along the California coast. I keep things simple: one photographer, focused attention, and images that hold up years later.

I shoot weddings in Los Angeles, mostly in places where the light does interesting things. Greystone Mansion on a clear afternoon, the 6th Street Viaduct just before sunset, the cool marble hallways of Walt Disney Concert Hall when a couple wants something quieter. I work alone, sometimes with a second shooter, and I prefer to plan the day around the light rather than the schedule. Most of my couples book me after we walk a location together, so I know exactly where to put them at 4:47pm. I have been photographing weddings here for nine years, and I still find new corners in this city. That is the part I like most about the job.

I photograph weddings in Los Angeles with a documentary approach and a quiet eye for the in-between moments. Most of my work happens at venues that already carry their own weight: the steel curves of the 6th Street Viaduct at sunset, the soft lawns at Greystone Mansion, the long shadow lines of LACMA at dusk. I started shooting weddings after eight years doing editorial work for magazines, and I still bring that same restraint to a day that moves fast. I work with light, not against it, and I do not stage anything I did not see. If you want a record of how the day actually felt, I would like to hear from you.

I shoot weddings in Los Angeles, mostly outdoors. A lot of my work happens at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, the Venice Canals in the early morning, or under the lanterns at LACMA. I also shoot downtown: the 6th Street Viaduct at sunset, the steps of Walt Disney Concert Hall, the boardwalk at Venice Beach when the light is right. I work with natural light, a small bag of primes, and one second shooter I trust. I prefer small weddings, elopements, and couples who want honest photographs instead of a long list of staged portraits. My turnaround is around six weeks. If you are getting married in Los Angeles and want someone calm and quiet with a camera, write to me.
