Sessions

Sessions built around you, not the other way around.

A short list. I am happy to build a custom session if you have something specific in mind.

Solo portrait session

Two hours, one location, one person. Includes a short wardrobe note before the session, a 7 day turnaround on the edited gallery, and a print release for the final files. I keep the pace loose so you can relax into it.

Couples session

Two hours for two people, walking one or two nearby spots. Good for engagements, anniversaries, or a regular Tuesday. I focus on the in between moments and the parts of the day that feel like you.

Family and small groups

Up to two hours for a small group, working one or two spots within walking distance. I keep things moving so the kids and the uncles can stay themselves, and I aim for a folder of natural frames rather than posed ones.

Headshots on location

One hour, two or three looks, working in available light. Built for actors, founders, and people who hate a studio backdrop. The city is the background, and the look is honest.

Where we shoot

A short list of places I work in often, all on or near a subway line. If you have a spot that means something to you, we will meet there instead.

I also shoot anywhere else in the five boroughs

FAQ

Things people ask before booking

If your question is not here, just send me a note.

How long is a session?

About two hours from start to finish. That is enough time to walk a location, change a shirt or a coat if you want, and work through a few different framings without rushing. One hour usually feels too quick and three hours starts to drag for everyone, so two is what I work with.

Where do we shoot?

Anywhere you like within the five boroughs. I have a short list I rotate through, including Bow Bridge in Central Park, the waterfront at Brooklyn Bridge Park, and the brick arch under the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO. If you have a place that means something to you, we will go there instead.

What should I wear?

Wear what you actually wear on a good day. Solid colors and simple textures photograph best, and I would skip logos and small busy patterns. We can swap a layer on the day if you bring a jacket or a second shirt. I send a short note on this when you book, with a few examples from past sessions.

When do I get the photos back?

Your edited gallery is usually ready in seven days. I deliver around 40 to 60 finished files in an online gallery that you can share, download, and order prints from. The raw files and the unedited set stay with me unless you ask for them, and I keep a backup for a year.
